This is definitely one of the worst things I ever bought when it comes to anyone related to cars. Badly engineered can’t even reach the bolts to tighten them once planted into the car

Sorry to hear you were not happy with your seat bracket! From your review the only complaint was that you could not reach the bolts to tigthten them. The mounting points are located under the surface of the seat bracket but they are near the corners so you should be able to access them with an open end wrench.
The majority of our customers want this seat bracket to be as low as possible so that the aftermarket seat sits at the proper height. In order to keep the seat bracket low to the floor there is only about an inch of space between the mounting point and the top surface of the seat bracket. This prevents the use of most socket wrenches and may mean that you'd need to replace the OEM bolts with hex bolts or studs and nuts. However it does leave plenty of room for an open end wrench.

I bought this seat mount to put my corbeau fix back seats in my 2019 chrysler 300. It fit perfect and the mount is of great quality, everything bolted up perfectly. I now need to order the passenger side mount to finish the install, I will be recommending this company to everyone looking to do a simular install in there rides.

Definitely doesn’t fit in my ‘92 W250. I’m handy and do a bit of fabrication and I’ll make these work. The tunnel seems to be off for whatever they made their jig from. More info is needed on the specs for the old dodge trucks as single cab and extended cab have different pans depending on transmission. Otherwise, these are made well!

Seats sit way too high up with these brackets. The seat belt tab hits the seat plastics itself too. That's without a seat belt bolted in. Just the tab on the seat brackets.
Seats are Recaro CS's with Recaro sliders.
The slotted holes for the seat make it seem like there's adjustment, but its at the outer edges on both sides. Adjustment is maybe 3mm left to right. I have them all the way to the outside. Still sits too close to the center console compared to stock seats.
I'm only 5' 9" and my head is almost touching the top of the headliner. There's room to drop these flat instead of having tabs that stick up to raise the seat by almost 2 inches over stock.
These need to be redesigned I would love to return these but the paper work says I can't return them if they've been installed. Great feeling being stuck with $400 of paper weight scrap steel now. All to find out they don't fit in any way shape or form.

Sorry to hear you were not happy with the height of these seat brackets or the placement of the universal seat belt tab on our seat bracket!
We made these seat brackets as low as we could. They are about 1.5 inches tall, leaving room under them to access the OEM seat mounting points as well as leaving room to access the hardware to install the seat and sliders. If we made these brackets lower, there would not be room to install the required hardware.
We centered the driver seat bracket on the steering wheel as much as possible and made the passenger as a mirror image. We placed the universal seat belt tab close to the center console in an effort to leave as much room for an aftermarket seat as possible. However, some seats are wider than others so certain seats may be a tighter fit than others. Similary some seats will sit higher than others based on the seat bottom cushion thickness.
If the universal seat belt mounting point on our seat bracket is contacting the seat, it can be cut down to sit lower than the seat. The Recaro sliders are 1 inch tall, so cutting the belt tab down just under one inch tall and drilling a new mounting point hole will solve this issue.
However, it will not solve the height issue and we don't want you to be stuck with parts you don't need and cannot use. If the seat brackets have not been modified (drilled through, cut, etc) we can accept a return even though they have been installed. We'll need to refinish them so there will be a small restocking fee to cover that. If you'd like to proceed with a return please contact us at sales@plantedtechnology.com and we'll start the process.

Had to shim the trans tunnel side as it was 3mm play after bending tabs closer also had to bend door side hook mounts with a hammer to fit and use cut washers to shim correctly

I purchase these seat brackets for my 1988 Honda Crx. Great build quality. Great fitment to factory bolt holes. The ability to mount my New Brain seats Not So Great. Not sure if all the oval holes were cut for weight reduction or what but it makes mounting the fixed seats next to impossible. Even if you were to drill your own holes every thing pre cut gets in the way in some way shape or form. Not thrilled about how much they cost for the final results you will achieve. If you plan on mounting sliders on them like I initially did you will have about 1 inch of head clearance, and I am only 5ft 11. Just my 2 cents!

We're glad to hear you were happy with the build quality and fitment of the seat bracket to your CRX! Sorry to hear you weren't happy with the height or the limitations around drilling your own holes.
We did make this bracket as low as the floor of the car would allow. There is no room to make the bracket lower without modifying the floor of the CRX.
When a bracket isn't low enough we do recommend removing the sliders (saves 1 inch in height) and fix mounitng the seat directly to the bracket by drilling your own holes. Often times you can utilize some of the existing holes in the bracket and just drill two new holes. However, it sounds like you were attempting to install the seat either far back or far forward on the surface of the bracket. In that case it would be recommended to use some flat stock steel to add extra support under the portion of the seat hanging off the seat bracket.
If you are able to send us some images of your setup we'd be happy to help troubleshoot and see if we can recommend a low solution.

Product sits far too high in the vehicle, head hits ceiling of car. Product not used, would like to return, however return policy states you can’t return if it’s installed.
Sorry to hear our bracket was too tall for you! We designed this bracket to be as low as possible while still being a bolt-in universal solution. However, we are limited by the mounting points and layout of the floor in the Civic. This bracket is about 1.5 inches tall at the rear mounting points which is as low as we could make the bracket while leaving room to install the mounting bolts under the bracket.
The overall height is largely determined by the size of the other components like the seat thickness and whether or not sliders are being used. Sliders will add an inch in height so removing them would lower the seat an inch.
We'd be happy to help trouble shoot your installation and see if there might be a way to lower the seating position.
We do have a policy not to accept returns once a product has been installed but we may be able to make an exception if the bracket has not been modified. We'd need to see some images of the bracket.
